    Types Of Booklets

With the increasing competition, every brand has a unique requirement to present its products and services. However, we offer a wide range of booklets to meet your demands. We present mini booklet printing that aligns with your brand strategies. Irrespective of the type of booklets you want, we are here to provide you with exceptional services. Here are the different types of booklets:

    • Saddle-Stitched Booklet
    • Spiral Binding
    • Brochure Booklet
    • Perfect Binding

    Saddle-Stitched Booklet

It is a commonly used bidding for booklets. It includes folding the assembled paper sheets and stapling through the folding line. It is a center-binding so that the booklets open flat from the center.

    Spiral Binding

It is a similar bidding procedure to saddle stitching, but it requires making holes on the left side to pass a metal wire through them. This is also known as coil binding.

    Brochure Booklet

The brochure booklet is different from all; it includes the product description, information, and services. Booklets need to be designed properly to make them user-friendly.

    Perfect Binding

In this method, the pages are pasted at the spine, and the other three sides are cut to give a perfect look.

    Different Sizes of Booklets

Booklets are available in different sizes and styles. Depending on the type of binding you select, for instance, if you can make square booklet printing or rectangular booklet printing, you can create unique types of booklets. The following are the different sizes of booklet printing.

    • Small booklets

Usually, a small-sized booklet is 5.5 x 8.5 and 8.5 x 11. It is the perfect size for reports and manuals.

    • Large booklets

If a company needs more space in the booklet for information, large booklets are used in that case. Large booklets have the size of 12×12.

    • Custom-sized booklets

You can customize the size of booklets according to your requirements.

    Papers And Finishing Options

Choosing a durable quality material is necessary because it is the main aspect of the booklet. We offer premium-quality papers. Using finishing options is necessary to create a brand identity in the market. We offer alluring finishes and coatings to give your booklets a luxury look.

    • Paper type (Gloss, recycled uncoated, satin, uncoated)
    • Finishing (gloss lamination, matte lamination, spot UV varnish, embossing/debossing, foil stamping)

    Variety In Booklet Printing

Printings are an important factor in booklets; they have a key role in the presentation of the booklets. For premium printing results, we use colour schemes and inks that are long-lasting. Alluring graphics and designs printed on your booklets will make the customers look into your business. The following are the different types of printing that you can use to get perfect-bound booklet printing for your business.

    • Offset Printing
    • Digital Printing
    • Screen Printing
    • Flexography Printing

    Offset Printing

Offset printing is a popular printing method that is widely used to print high-volume printed results for brochures and catalogues. It uses the CMYK colour system to produce vibrant and colourful outcomes of the designs that draw customer attention. This printing method is flexible for the choice of material.

    Digital Printing

Digital printing is the revolutionised printing method, whether you want to print a small booklet, a medium-sized booklet, or a large booklet. Digital printing methods include various types, including laser printing, inkjet printing, etc. You can choose the type of printing method according to your paper choice.

    Screen Printing

A screen is used for transferring ink onto the material. Screen printing is mainly popular for catalogue printing, for creating simple and elegant designs.

    How To Upload Your Files

You can submit your design in CMYK colors for the exact color on your printed brochures. We accept PNG and JPG as file formats, but PDF is the preferred option. You can also consult our team to know the right format for your design.

    • Press-ready PDF
    • Other acceptable formats are AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF
    • Avoid using poor-quality JPGs having low resolution
    • Submit PNG only in RGB format

    Color Mode

    • Use CMYK
    • Do not submit designs in RGB or Pantone unless we have specifically requested them. This is necessary to prevent shifting colors during conversions.

    Resolution

    • Minimum 300 DPI
    • Lower resolutions cause pixelation or blurry text and images
    • Make sure that all the designs meet this standard

Point To Be Kept In Mind

You can either supply your design as a single file or as a single spread. Make sure you have clearly labeled your designs so that the system will not make any errors. Also, add a 0.125 blank area on both sides of the fold lines before uploading it.  For instance, an 8.5” x 11” brochure file should be 8.75” x 11.25”.

    • Trim Line: Actual finished size after cutting.
    • Safe Zone: Keep text and logos at least 0.25 inches (6 mm) inside the trim line.

This will prevent losing image content during trimming

    Folding

We have several attractive and catchy folding options that you can choose from. Every fold has different specifications, and the ability to present the brochure. So it is better to consult a designer if you do not have the correct idea about the design.

    Bleed

Bleed area is the portion around the print trim size. It extends the image and color beyond the finished trim size. This is necessary to make sure that no color on the final brochure remains white or colorless. You must add 0.125 bleed to every print file before uploading. Do not add any important information in the bleed area, as it may lead to the cutting of important information. If your pages are blank, then you skip the bleed area. By blank, we mean that there is no image or text that meets the edges.

    Margins And Alignment

    • Your margins must be consistent across panels for professional symmetry
    • For perfect alignment of text and images, use a grid or ruler guidelines. This will also help with perfect fold lines.
    • Logos and backgrounds come under cross-panel elements and must be cross-checked for a seamless flow.

    Fonts And Text

    • Convert all fonts to outlines or vectors. You can also embed the outline in a PDF
    • Minimum font size must be 8 pt for body text
    • Make sure to avoid things or light color fonts on a dark background, because it may lead to uneven printing

    File Naming Convention

Use a clear file name format. In this, you must add the company name and brochure size. You can also mention the fold and date for a better organization
